Question about 1999 Buick Century
Before you end up replacing a bunch of parts that cost big $$$, try tightening or replacing your fuel tank fill cap. The trouble code relates to the EVAP system which recovers gasoline fumes and sends them to the engine to be burned. If the EVAP Purge Solenoid and/or its wiring malfunctions, the solenoid (and possibly its wiring) might have to be replaced. However, a loose-fitting or worn gas cap could also be the culprit, and it's easy to check, tighten and/or replace the cap. Give it a shot.
