Jack the car up until the wheel in question is off the ground-grab the wheel on the outer most surface and try to wiggle it-if you can you have a bad wheel bearing-this should be replaced as soon as possible-cheers Denny

remove the wheel
using a hammer and punch knock the broken stud out
fit the new stud from behind use over size nuts as spacers fit the stud nut and apply tension
using the hammer and punch from the rear on the head of the stud knock it in as you keep the tension on the stud nut
keep the process going until the stud is fully seated on the head of the stud

Grinding noise from rear wheel

could very well be a wheel bearing. Jack the car up on the wheel making the noise, grab onto the tire and try to shake it, if there is any play and or clunking noise the wheel bearing is most likely the culprit.

GRINDING SOUND COMING FROM REAR OF VEHICLE ,

Bearings? If the wheel is jacked of the ground, can it be shaken back and for to determine any "play" or looseness? If so, hub/bearings are bad.

Wheel was knocked off? Front or rear?
Most definitely will be a wheel bearing involved.
The parts if it is just a rear bearing should be under $50 , Under $70 for the front, and do check the rotors and calipers and brake pads, that is a good hit . If you feel the need to change any brake parts, always change that part on both sides.
