a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Best suggestion I can make is make sure the power steering fluid is in the full range (either hot if you've been driving more than 20 miles, or cold if the engine has been off). Always check the fluid with the engine off. If the fluid smells burnt, have a mechanic check the power steering pump for damage. Also check around the area for any leaks.
Another thing to look at is the wiring and fuses for the power steering and speedometer. Try to follow them to see if there's any bare, rubbing, broken, or loose wires. Electrical systems are a pain to diagnose specifically, and it may be better to have a mechanic look at it for you but fuses are easy to check.

check your battery cables make sure there tight and secure but what i think you will find is a fuseable link going from the battery to the wiring harness has blown and once you replace that!! then you need to find the component that cause it to blow which wil probably be the heater motor also check and make sure your alternator belt didnt fall off

things that can cause trouble.
Cam belts can jump on the pulley.if belt breaks, dont think the engine is junk,it is not.just replace along with tensioner and water pump.
Clutch cables seem to break with annoying regularity.Usually means your clutch is going too.
Hand brake/parking brakes can seize.put a little copper grease on the rear brake arms, you can see them when you look from the rear of the car at each brake hub.
Sensors can go all over the place but before replacing, try cleaning them.
Radiators are awkward to replace.Car can suffer from head gasket failure and the car does not have a temp gauge.get one off ebay and a pillar mounted pod.It will be your best friend to avoid over heating.Sounds like really bad news but I,ve had 2 now and being pro active with the maintenance really pays dividends.
