I am losing power when idling...

If your idle speed is less than 600 RPM, the alternator will not be charging the battery. The idle speed could be low because the throttle body needs to be cleaned. Make sure it is cleaned front and back.

1997 honda odyssey rpms go up and down while in park and trys to stall out when in gear and take foot off gas pedal

The idle speed in your car is controlled by a computer (known as the PCM), the computer controls a valve called the Air Bypass Valve, this valve and the throttle valve get full of sludge from fuel vapors and combustion "blow back", this causes the valve to stick or move slowly, this in turn causes surging (speed goes up and down) in the idle speed of the engine, it is the most common reason for idle surge on any fuel injected gas engine up to about 2004 when car makers starting using electronic throttle control. To clean the idle speed control valve and the throttle valve do the following.
To correct this problem Buy a can of throttle valve cleaner (it is made by CRC) from the local auto parts store, NEVER USE CARB CLEANING SPRAY, IT DESTROYS THE ANTI-STICK TEFLON COATING, spray it into the air intake through the throttle body of the engine until you have used about half the can, you will need to hold the idle up while you do this, it will try to stall, after this shut the engine down and disconnect the Negative (-) battery cable for 5 minutes. The intake is now clean, if you continue to have the idle speed control problems you may need to seek the help of a professiona

On 2004 Trailblazer, when air conditioning is turned on car does not idle right almost cuts off. no problem at speed, only idle & slowing down.

I would suspect the clutch on the air conditioning unit, also if the unit is overcharged
from a recent charge this would also bog the engine. At speed it would not be as pronounced.
Hope this helps.

While idling, my pt cruiser rpm goes down with air conditioning on. The car sputters like its about to stall.

its not being told to speed the idle up under load ,now on the back of the steering rack just behind where the steering goes into it is a sensor that increases the RPM on idle when steering is turned but i have found that if this sensor isnt working not only does steering slow engine down but also AC ?? why when they are not related i dont know i just know it does ??

Would an idle control valve cause a car not to accelerate?

no, idle air control valve is literally to control your idle speed.
what happen when you press on gas? car shakes, RPM goes up, or engine just bogs down?

2004 trailbrazer heater blower only works on high setting

Your blower resister is bad. Remove it and check to see if it any burned spots. If you resister is bad either A, your pulling to many amps, or B your blower motor is bad also.
You should be able to check your blower motor by hooking red, 12 volt hot tp connector, and black to frame ground.

sounds like the idle control valve is sticking. it is located at the throttlebody at the air inlet. try tapping on it and see if the idle goes up
