Question about 1995 Mitsubishi Montero
IF it is the same as my 89 Montero (which it should be) you would first disconnect the ground for the battery (safety first), loosen the belt tensioner enough to remove the altenator drive belt and then unbolt the alternator. Keep the bolts placed in a manner in which you can be sure which one goes where. I believe the bottom bolt is going to give you the most trouble. It may have to come out from the back. It's been over a year since I pulled mine so I can't remember for sure. HTH

The factory paint code is normally inside the engine bay by the firewall. It would be a sticker type/nameplate for external color and would have three digit number such as G13 or WWP or A31. It could also be found at radiator support, driver door jamb, passenger or door jamb.
Alternately, there would be several variations of green:
Good luck and kind regards.

The AT Temp light refers to the temperature of the automatic transmission fluid. If worked very hard the tranny will heat up quite a bit and the switch will close telling you the tranny is getting too hot. If this happpens, park your Pajero and keep the engine running and allow the engine to idle, this will help cool the fluid and the light will rurn off. Given the year of your Pajero, a tranny filter / fluid replacement would be a good thing. I have a 1990 Montero (here in the US) and the over heat switch on my tranny failed so light was always on, had to replace the switch. I believe the switch can be found in a tranny coolant line.
Please let me know if this assisted you.
