Intermittent hard power steering, at the begining of the turn of the steering wheel, once disturbed past the hard part, works normal.
Had fluid change, I notice a sensor, on the control block tower of the rack, is this at fault ? thanks buckleyeng.

SOURCE: steers hard when turning around
try lucas power steering stop-leak. drain some of the fuild and then pour that in. it is for surging rack & pinions, not just for leaks. if that doesn't work then you may have a defective rebuilt rack.
check power steering pump pressure, might be weak.

I have a similar problem - only sometimes the powersteering light comes on and then a few hundred meters further everything is normal again - I also have a hooter sound that goes off 3 times during driving, with no light on the dash burning what could this be?
