Question about 2004 Buick Rendezvous

1 Answer

Does anyone have the factory radio wiring diagram for the 04 Buick Rendezvous? I am wanting to remove the factory radio and install my Sony stereo. I have found 1 wiring diagram, But it seems to be off. On the factory wiring harness, It has 2 orange wires. On the diagram that I found, It only mentions 1 orange wire.

Found out that the only way to install an aftermarket stereo, You need to buy a special harness that allows the warning chimes to keep working. The special harness also comes with an acc+ wire that the Buick Rendezvous doesn't have. Problem solved.

I have an '02 Buick Rendezvous that doesn't have a overhead DVD player installed in it. Was wondering if I could get a factory one from an Uplander, Terraza, or Montana and install it in my Rendezvous

Jonathan,
You are trying to do something that may cost more than its worth!! Just take it to the local stereo shop and tell them what you want... if they are good.. they can do it!

I have a Buick Rendezvous and I was wondering if its possible to put and single-din stereo in this car. The cassette and cd stopped working and I would like to fix it or change it.

Yes it is possible to put a single din radio in this car. Simplest way is to go on Ebay and order a single din radio fill-in kit and a factory radio wiring plug adaptor for the vehicle. Make sure you order it for the exact year make and model to be sure you have the right installation setup.

I have a toyota trueno 1992 and i want to put a new stereo in it

Go to the auto parts store and get a wire adaptor made for a 1992 trueno. It will plug into your factory harness. The wire colors are prematched to your sony and other aftermarket stereos. Just match the wire colors, splice with connectors making sure no wires are exposed. (A little electrical tape for good measure around splices helps). Then it just plugs in. If your factory stereo has mounts that screw onto the radio, unscrew them and attach them to the sony. Remove sleeve from radio and discard. The screw holes are already on the sony.

Hello I just bought a new stereo for my mitsubishi galant 2002 but i need to know the wiring diagram in order to make the installation if anyone can help thanks

Wiring adapters are available for nearly every make of vehicle, which allows you to plug right in to the original radio connectors. They come with wiring diagrams, and are nearly idiot proof. They cost usually about 10 to 15 dollars, and are available just about anywhere that sells car stereos. This also allows you to reinstall the factory radio when it comes time to sell the car and you want to keep your stereo.
