Where is the knock sensor on my 2004 Isuzu Rodeo?

yet another easter egg hunt 10,000,
and no engine stated, as are most here.
USA car? (canada?)
first off the old V6 is in the block valley (6vd1) engines.
I bet its not bad,
if you scanned the PCM and no error for knock why ask?

2004 here is 3.5L engine it has only 2 elect pins, (a give away)
has a center hole bolt (block of plastic)
and has 2 knock sensors, that year,
that year had 3.2 liter too, why post lacking DISPLACMENT
and cam counts, 4 cams? 6ve1? engines?> has 2.
the look like below, 2 pins center large bolt hole
most times all KS are on the block somwhere
on the early engine on top valley (intake man pulled.)
later they move them ,putting a KS on a head is crazy
as it must then HEAR valve noises, and caM, (yes its just a microphone) it does hear. knock.
and in 3 dimensions (3D). best place was on top.
but if you put them on the banks then you need 2 for obvious reasons.
it cant be on the pan , nor front or rear of engine leaving
where bank sides, "V" see?
It must hear all cylinders fire, per bank. (rules not too close not to far)

k1-akgy0jmi3zm3dcjo5njpmo5v-3-0.jpg its not here, as seen the old V6

6vd1 (old) knock dead center, now gone from there.

35a-akgy0jmi3zm3dcjo5njpmo5v-3-3.jpg bolted to side of block, both are identical.

Code PO446 on evac system. what does it mean. engine light remains on 2004 montero sport all wheel drive with 4x4

It's the EVAP system. Code is for an open or short to ground in the gas tank vent valve. Pin hole in tank might cause a P0442 for a small EVAP leak, if the hole was large enough.

I have a gas leak that only happens when i fill my truck up What is the problem

Probably the seal leaking around the fuel pump in the top of the gas tank, or the vent line or filler hose line is loose or split.

Citroen ds3 timing marks

The 1.6-litre twin-cam engine in your C2 VTR has a hole in each camshaft pulley, which lines up with a hole in the cylinder head. This is where camshaft locking pins should be fitted and when lined up, indicates the correct timing of the engine with piston number one at TDC. You're right, there are no timing marks, so once you've fitted the locking pins use 6mm diameter dowels or bolts if you don't have the correct tools, it's a good idea to add some paint marks to the camshaft pulleys and the crankshaft pulley. The VTR's crank can also be locked by fitting a locking pin through the engine block, just behind the oil filter. This should be done before fitting the camshaft locking pins and can be quite fiddly Citron recommend you remove the oil filter

1987 jeep wrangle will not start or run

Uncouple the fuel line coming from the pump at the carburetor, place a clean can under the line, and have someone operate the starter--you should have fuel shoot from the line in spurts as the engine turns. If it does, then the entry port on the carburetor is plugged. Remove the float assembly and pull out the float needle valve. Hook the fuel line back to the carburetor and try the starter again, there should be fuel pumping into the float bowl. If not, check to see if there is a filter on the fuel inlet path that may be plugged. If no filter, remove the float needle seat to see if something is blocking the fuel passage. If all else fails, use compressed air to blow backwards through the needle seat (remove the fuel line again). Hope some of this helps!

Unsolved Problem!

Have you looked at the gas or gas tank. It could be full of water. Your specific pump could be sitting up high where the gas water line settles after a period of time. Try some dry gas and run the tank out.

1990 toyota 4 runner smelling gas.

Thank you for allowing me to assist you with your problem.
My experience with this particular issue leads me to believe that you probably have a rusted fuel line or lines at the top of the fuel tank, assuming that the fuel lines are OK under the vehicle. This is a very common problem. There is a bracket there that holds the fuel pump inside the tank, and the fuel lines that are welded to the top of this device are wont to develop pin-holes over time and age. Very noticable when driving, most likely the line going to the engine is the culprit. Get under the vehicle and see if there is wetness at the top of the tank. If so, you will need to drop the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump bracket. I hope that this helps you solve your problem.
