Question about 2002 Jeep Liberty
Put the key in the ignition and tap the key farther into the cylinder and turn. should work. seems like a chrysler problem! a handy tow truck driver showed me this solution last night. you can have the cylinder replaced if this keeps happening or just keep a handy-dandy whacking object in your center console for just such an occassion!

Your steering wheel is probably locked. Try pressing the brake and move the steering from left to right while turning the key on.
