Question about Toyota Passenger
We bought a Toyota Lucida Estima yesterday and my husband drove it home no probs but this morning the gear lever is tuck, won't move!!!
It's an automatic transmission and the gear lever is on the steering wheel.
Is it just a simple case of clicking something in the right way or a more sinister problem?
Automati Estimas have a safety device that locks the gear lever in 'park' until the brake pedal is pressed. Turn on the ignition and check that the brake lights are working, as the lock works on the same circuit. There may be a problem with the wiring to the lock mechanism

Put your foot on the brake and you will be able to move the stick...
