rear brakes are done unless replaced..check all brakes..plug wires drive axle fluid. Thermostat... cheep part very impotant.

Testimonial: "Thank you! I've got to replace the battery too. Timing belt was done at 70k miles and tune up was done at 90k. When it comes to parts, what should I look for? I assume I should stay away from the cheapest, but are the more expensive much better?"

SOURCE: Is a dodge straight 6 diesel engine with 110,000

Yes, that is a good buy depending on price of course. A Cummins engine can run for 300,000 miles or longer. Generally reach the 500,000 mile mark with no major problems. There is a chance of an injector pump going out if it wasn't maintained well. I would buy it. I hope this helps please rate this and thank you

I have a 2004 V6 Volkswagen Passat with 110,000 miles on it and it has suddenly began to idle a little rough. Any thoughts?

Could be a lot of things. A sensor, bad gas, clogged fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires, camshaft position sensor, etc.. Check engine light on?? If so, have the the code scanned to find out the fault code. Go to your mechanic, or local auto parts superstore...most do it for free banking on you will buy the part from them.

Inspect the shock absorbers, if you see any sign of oil leakage on them, then you need to change them. Depending on the type of noise your car might need to be oiled or have other parts changed. Good luck

Replace your Air filter, this is one of the most common problems. People forget to take care of it, when your SUV can't breath it uses more fuel to make up for the combustion loss. Buy a $12 filter and you should be good.

As far as the fuel filter, I would wait to see if the air filter was the problem, but a new fuel filter will help the cause.

2003 and up Honda Accord with 4 cylinder engines do indeed have a chain and the V6 has a belt which must be replaced at 110,000 miles. Why? Ask Honda, they designed the engines.
