I had the same problem. I changed my fuel filter too.Your catalytic converter is clogged. I could put the pedal to the floor board and couldnt hardly pick up any speed. I could hardly make up a hill on the highway. Take it to a kia dealership and they will, they should replace it for free, they did mine and I didnt have a warranty. I think there is a warranty on that specific part. That's what it is though.

This is a very minor timing problem.
Either the spark is too far advanced, or too far retarded.
If you've a set of 'feeler gauges', you will know what to do now.
Alternatively, take it to a 'Trusted' garage.
I say 'Trusted' because, unfortunately, there are too many 'garagist's' (if you like,) that are quite happy to take your hard earned green, in exchange for less than nothing.
