I have a 2003 Lincoln Aviator with a dead battery and I wondering if there was any way to get it into neutral to move with the dead battery. I tried to turn the key in the ignition and apply the brakes but that didn't work
U can get someone to hook up there car to jump it or at least get power to put in neutral.
There is an override lever on the shift lever, inside the center console. Find the access panel next to the driver's seat; it's about 1.5" high by 4.25" wide, under the top edge accent trim. Carefully pry out the panel, then use a screwdriver to push the white plastic override up toward the roof of the vehicle. You can then move the shift lever out of Park.
