Question about 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

My 2000 chev silverado 4x4 5.3l hesitates when eccelerating and has a breif pause when i stomp on it

Make sure you had complete tune up, clean intake throttle body with carb cleaner spray, change fuel filter, make sure trans fluid good, check for vacuum leakes in hoses

Will cd player from 2000 chev. silverado pick-up interchange with other gm 2000 models


Some models yes and some no. It should work with any of the trucks or SUV's of similar trim level.

you have to take the transmission pan off and it is located at the end closest to the engine.

Have you checked to make sure the catylitic convertor isn"t plugged? Disconnect the exhaust and rev the engine is there a difference? Good Luck!
