Question about 1993 Mazda 626
Problem is have a loud tapping noise coming from the cam area.
Had same problem, i believe in my v6. the oil filled timing belt tensioner has lost oil and now the pully is hitting the tensioner. just fill the tensioner with more oil, in order to do so you have to pull the tensioner out, may have to re time the engine. but there is an allen key screw in the bottem of the tensioner so oil can be loaded.
