Using pry bar,or screw driver put pressure from in back of pulley or what ever bracket it is on and then try turning bolt and see if it starts to grab threads to come out. it will be hard. or u will have to cut head off bolt get things off and then see why bolt is not coming out. but you need pressure on bolt in the direction it needs to go to come out.

Replace idler pully on 92 Nissan. Pathfinder 4~4

Looks like there is an idler pulley for the ac belt. The alternator and ps belts are adjusted by moving the components.
The pulley is available without the bracket, so you should be able to loosen the center bolt without removing the bracket. There is an adjusting bolt or rod that you turn to tighten or loosen the belt once you have loosened the bolts for the bracket.

Need to know how to adjust serpentine belt, please show diagram. 6 cyl engine.

Really don't need a diagram. Loosen the slide bolts on the power steering pump. loosen or tighten the pump by turning the jack screw (long transverse bolt) under the pump. Once the belt is tightened up, lock down the slide bolts and you are finished.

I'm working on Serpentine belt for a 2006 Nissan Sentra 1.8 with A/C. I am turning the idler pulley clockwise to release tension, but it doesn't seem to be working... I can feel the center idler bolt...

The idler tensioner might be bad. Can you get to move counter-clockwise at all either? The tensioner has a large heavy spring mounted in a pot-metal housing, so tensioners often go bad. Might be an idea to remove the tensioner and take a look at it.

IDLER PULLY FOR SERPINTINE BELT WON'T COME OFF,

You need to create a wedge on the pulley with a screw driver or something. The auto parts store has a part that can hold the pulley.

The other option is to drill out the bolt and replace with another bolt. This can get rough to the point you may have to re thread the bolt hole.

Good Luck

Your belt may be the wrong length. It is too long. Where did you get it from?

Belt replacement 1990 acura integra

Ok, you will need a 10 mm socket and extension and a 14 and 15 mm wrench. One of the "idler" pullies is actualy an adjustable tension pully. loosen the center nut on the pully, and then begin loosening the 10 mm bolt from above. as you loosen it, the pully will drop, and soon enough you can slip the belt off.
good luck
