I sounds like you have an electrical problem with the dashboard. It will have to be pulled and checked.

I had the same problem with the gas tank on my 95 mustang. You are going to have to drop the tank. There is a rubber seal where the filler neck goes into the gas tank that has failed and must be replaced. You are losing even more gas than you think. Everytime you make a left turn gas is sloshing out through that bad seal.

99 mustang fuel gage stuck on half, low fuel light works

If the gauge remains in one position, on or off, full or empty, then it may be a bad gauge, or a faulty voltage regulator for the gauge. If the instrument panel is removed, there is a printed circuit on the back which ties to all gauges and lights. Check it for breaks or corrosion. The voltage regulator should be mounted to the same area and supplies regulated voltage to the fuel gauge. Hope this helps!

This is pretty common on the 2005 Mustangs, it's caused by failing stepper motors in the instrument cluster, they control the movement of the gauges. Repair is around $180 and there's a guide on how to fix them yourself here - 2005 Mustang speedometer problem

When i start my 94 mustang it chugs for about a minute then it is fine. i think its a sensor somewhere but im not sure

U may have a defective fuel pump check valve, if this is the case the system looses pressure after the engine is shut off and then causes this problem u are having. to check this u must hook up a fuel pressure test gauge the fuel pressure test port on the top of the engine, it looks like a metal tire valve, this gauge cost's around $20.00 and is well worth the money, after the gague is screwed onto the test port run the engine and record the fuel pressure reading, then shut the engine down, the pressure should remove close to the running reading, if it drops more than 3 PSI you have a problem and need to replace the fuel pump which is located inside the gas tank.

95' mustang no fire

This also happened to my '95 mustang 5.0L I was actually driving when it lost power. Take the cap off of the distributor and see if the shaft wiggles. The distributor shaft in the mustangs are the weakest point of the engine. If the shaft wobbles the rotor will wobble hitting the points and may break the rotor. All the metal grinding will put little metal shavings in the housing where the magnetic pick-up will attract them, this is the problem. You can replace the magnetic pick-up but if the shaft is moving around you will need a new distributor all around.
