SOURCE: how to flush the radiator on a chev blazer 2000 LS

If you are simply flushing the radiator, fill it with clean water (bottled is best) and run it through a few times. There is also "radiator flush" products that help break up build up in the radiator, that you can use; purchase at auto parts dealer near you - also, it's best to flush the block as well. You local auto parts dealer will have a tool (fairly cheap) that will allow you flush the entire system, as well as specific instructions.

How to drain radiator 1998 chev blazer

Some years have drain plugs, others don't. Just unhook the bottom radiator hose to drain. OR, look on the passenger side, on the side of the radiator, up a few inches. Some models have plugs there.

Radiator flush

The drain plug should be located on the drivers side on bottom of radiator. Should be a flat tab that you can use to unscrew it. Or the faster/messier way of doing it, is to pull of lower radiator hose. Alot faster but alot harder to catch coolant to reuse.
