What make ,model an year vehicle do you have John ? You would have to look at a wiring diagram an see what if anything these thing's have in common .. A fuse , a control module of some sort or a common ground point that's corroded . Go to autozone.com. Register for free, giving make, model, year, and engine size. A pretty fair amount of repair help and some wiring diagrams will be found there under "repair guides". You may have to look elsewhere for complete wiring diagrams, but check there first-it would have starting and ignition circuits, probably a complete engine wiring diagram.
this question reminds me of 2002 ford explorer recalls. even in the 2002 model there were issues related to fuses and switches. well coming back to ur question i would suggest u to go for an owner's manual. only the manual can give u the correct wiring diagram as per ur year model.
