Turn signals aren't flashing. None of the bulbs are blown as they remain solid on both sides and front and back when the turn signal is engaged. Same situation with the hazards. I purchased the replacement part as advised at a Pep Boys, however I can't find the part on the car anywhere. I've search both under the hood and under the driver side dash. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem on a 92 & 95 Dakota years ago, replaced the turn signal switch in the column & found a loose ground wire in the harness back by the tail lights. Never had a problem again. If you're gonna try to replace the switch you will need tamper proof torques bits just FYI. Good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

I have 2000 monte carlo ss v6 , it has multiple problems, all electrical :the turn signals buzz and wont flash as does the emergency flashers. the a c works periodically , the gas guage goes up and down...

Good grief! Short of replacing the wiring harness one thing comes to mind. Make sure the ground wire from the battery to the body is clean and well connected. What you claim really sounds like a major grounding problem.

92 caprice classic turn signals not working, but the bulbs are fine. Hazards, brakes, etc all work fine. Any ideas?

Yes, the problem is the turn signal flasher is defective. You can has two flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. That is why the hazard lights flash and the turn signals do not. Replace the turn signal flasher relay located on the drivers side of the steering column, mounted behind the instrument cluster in the convenience center. They are both mounted in the same location so turn on the hazard lights and the one that you put your finger on that is not clicking is the turn signal relay.

Hello, my 1993 ranger's turn signals just quit working. the emergency flashers still work but the turn signals wont flash, make any noise, or register on the dash. all the fuses are good, but i don't know...

Do they just turn on solid? If that is the the case, it needs a flasher relay. It is located up under the dash on the drivers side. If you purchase one at an auto parts store, you should be able to find it pretty easy. If they don't turn on at all, I would make sure the turn signal switch is plugged in all the way, and or doesn't have any pulled or broken wires going to it. Could be the turn signal switch its self.

Brake lights wont flash and turn signal wont flash

turn on the turn signals without turning on any other lights, first left, walk around the car, and see if there is a light that is not functioning, then right, and do the same. If there is a light that is not functioning, replace the bulb.
If all lights work, then its the unit flasher unit itself, and can be baught at a parts store, and is easy enough to replace in the fuse box of most cars.
