Check your crank angle sensor. start your car then wait for it to stop again then pour a descent amount of water over it then start your car again. if that works, u will need to get it replaced. sensor is to the top of the pulley at the bottom of the motor (big bottom pulley). hope this works

What is the normal fuel comsumption for a nissan navara

when you say it seems to be using too much, that is just a feeling
what you have to do is fill it right up and press the trip meter on the speedo
then you drive/use the vehicle normally until you are around 1/4 tank on the gauge
fill it right up again and record the reading on the trip meter
reset the trip meter and use normally again
repeat the process say for 4 tank fills recording each trip distance
then you will see what the fuel consumption is for example 40 liters for 400 klms is 10 liters per 100 klms or 20 galls for 200 miles is 10 gallons per 100 miles
the requirement to record distance and fuel put in will give you an accurate consumption over traffic, driving and atmospheric conditions from there you can ask --is this consumption figure around right for the car?

THERE IS A CHIP IN THE KEY I BELIEVE. THERE IS A RELEARN PROCEDURE YOU CAN TRY IF WHEN YOU TRY AND START IT THE SECURITY LIGHT FLASHES. HOOK UP A BATTERY CHARGER. TURN THE KEY ON AND TRY AND START THE CAR AND RELEASE . DO NOT TURN KEY OFF LEAVE IT IN THE RUN POSITION. AFTER 10 MINS THE LIGHT WILL STOP FLASHING. TURN KEY OFF. TRY AND RESTART CAR AND AGAIN DO NOT TURN KEY OFF LEAVE IN THE RUN POSITION. LET SET 10 MINS AGAIN. LIGHT WILL STOP FLASHING AFTER THAT 10 MINS. DO IT AGAIN FOR THE 3RD TIME. SHUT KEY OFF LET SET 5 SECONDS AND START THE VEHICLE. HOPE THIS HELPS

Sounds like its not getting enough air then overfeulling .

Check the air mass sensor and air meter. also check all the pipes from the air box for splits etc.

2002 mits. lancer shakes and almost dies when stopped.

it could be that your air mass meter is going bad, or that you have a vacuum leak. check your air filter how dirty it is.
if it's too old or dirty replace it because it will kill your air mass meter and will cost you 10 + times more.

Car stop running and at times will not start. sometimes if you turn on the lights it seems to reset itself

if you have a battery light on " on the dash " the alternator may not be charging , or if you have a meter and it's in the lower side " like 6 - 8 - 10 " your alternator is dying.
if none of the above applies then you have a bad battery, just replace it and problem should be solved
