The black wire from the battery connects to the solenoid terminal. The BLK/BLU wire connects to the starter motor.

your new starter should have a S and a R terminal and also a large terminal thats for your main power . funny thing is im having starter problems with same truck man.

the cable that comes from the battery lefthander goes nearby and the one that leaves for the starter nearby rightly and the thinnest cable is the one that comes from the key that one goes in the thinnest terminal
