SOURCE: 1985 Dodge Ram Pickup Truck The front brakes

your pressure metering valve could not be working as it should, follow you brake lines down from the master cylinder to the frame rail it is on the inside of the frame rail and the front lines and back lines come out of it,on the front of the valve there should be a small ruber boot there the boot can be removed and inside on the valve you will see a small pin that goes into the valve it should be able to be moved in and out if not it could be rusted stuck and that could cause your front brakes to not release the pressure and cause your problem,i have a 1984 that did the same thing, hope this helps you.

could be if the engine is not getting voltage from the ignition switch. take a test light and check for battery voltage at the coil and module when you turn the switch on.

I have a 1985 toyota pu while driving it just quit. it has no spark, changed the rotor, spark plugs, it is getting fuel any help out there

Igniter.

The pickup coil should probably be changed too since the vehicle is as old as it is, and it is likely original.

Be sure to clean the mounting area for the igniter and use adequate heat transfer/dielectric grease on the metal mounting plate for optimum heat transfer.

Will Not Start

Check the distributor for cracks and check the rotor inside the distributor, it may be worn out.
