What would make my truck misfire if my son put deisle in it

You're joking, right? First question... Why would your truck misfire if you put water, Jello or peanut butter in your gas tank? Answer: Because your truck wasn't designed or set up, to run properly on any of those as a fuel source! Second question... Is you 2005 Trailblazer designed or set up to run on diesel? If your answer is no, slap your son in the head, drain your fuel tank and flush all the diesel from the system. Replace it with the unleaded fuel it was designed to operate on and educate your son on fueling up your truck. Your truck should stop misfiring once all the diesel is gone. Good luck!

I have a 2005 Ford F350 diesel with 6.0 powerstroke I have been having problems with a misfire I believe it is fuel injectors. Due to water in the fuel system. i started using diesel clean fuel injector...

Diesel clean will help, but it won't remove all the water in your fuel. Try some water dispersant fuel treatment as well.

I'm guessing your water in fuel light came on? It this happened for any length of time, your fuel water seperator sensor could of shorted out, this will cause a misfire, and will have to be replaced. There are several other things with the 6.0 that could be the problem, but i would start with this first. The back pressure control valve sticking and the pressure sensor out of calibration are also common problems on this engine.

Good luck, i hope this helps.

hi mis fire take place
1.First blocked or worn out injector, second pipe cracked or leaking, third fairly serious either valves or rings, compression check, good luck

2.Diesels dont as a rule misfire. They either go or stop completely, that was until they intrduced all this computerised electronic injection systems.
If a Diesel has a permanent misfire it is usually injector trouble or it has a compression off on one cylinder.
Take it to a diesel specialist and avoid main dealers at all costs.
