It is very unlikely that you will find a new dash, but there are many aftermarket sources for "dash covers" that fit over your old dash. With careful installation, they look as good as the original. Good luck

SOURCE: trying to wire a 1994 lt1 into 1996 chevy s-10

It should be a plug and play if your using the ECM for the 1994 engine. The ECM on the 1996 S10 will no work on the LT1 engine, for one thing the S10 ECM will only command for 6 fuel injectors and will have different injection pulse and so on. The program of the S10 ECM is made for the Vortec as to the LT1 will have different parameter **** as engine running temperature, vacuum readings, and timing.
The most obvious would be the 1994 LT1 runs on a OBDI system and the 1996 is running on a OBDII system. You can still run the 1994 LT1 from a 1994 with a OBDii system ecm, but some of the sensors will need to be upgraded to accommodate for the proper readings the OBDII system will need to have the engine to run right.
If you don't have the right ECM for the LT1, go to the wrecker's and locate one, Caprice, Camero, Firebird ECT.....
Thank you for using fixya and good luck on your project.

The fan should come on and should flash 1 then 2 for normal operation. Your IAC valve on the throttle body should be cleaned or replaced. After reinstall , turn key to on position for 1 min. then off for 1 min. To reset.

1994 camaro lt1 wont spark

No it is likely the OPTI SPARK distributor has failed, it is the Achilles heal of the LT1 V8. The distributor is located under the water pump on the front of the engine, if the water pump leaks it goes right into the distributor. To replace the distributor you must drain the cooling system and remove the water pump and all other obstructing parts to get to it. Before you replace any parts I suggest you have a trained technician run a scan of the system for fault codes, other things can cause this as well. The distributor is very expensive and i am only guessing based on my experience with my own 1996 Corvette LT1

Why would my chevy camero z-28 lt1 miss as it drives down the road and not throw a code?

There are a lot of items that can cause a miss fire but not throw codes on the dash. The check engine light will not display at every problem. You could have a bad spark plug or wires. Certing vacume componets can cause it. Cracked heads or head gaskets could do the same thing with out throwing codes.
