The fuse is ok because the motor still working , you should check wiper motor assembly or change a new one .

I've got a 2000 dodge dakota i need to see what position does the windshield wiper arms need to be in after i replace the wiper motor

Hi.

It's pretty easy, you do not need to know the position, the wiper motor always return to it's origin, just activate the wiper motor by briefly using the washer fluid switch for instance, let it finish it's movement. Next, you want to place the wiper arm with the longest blade on the driver side. Now for the height, most car's wiper sit from 0.5 to 1 inch above the base of the windshield so that should be what you're aiming for, if the wiper arms pinion has splines, try to pick the one closest to the windshield but not too close of course and repeat the same steps for the passenger side. Now you should check the wiper arm operation for collision, incorrect height or travel distance and adjust the wiper arm position accordingly. By the way, if you're lucky your windshield may have mark on the base of the tinting of the windshield to indicate the height of the wiper blade

1997 Lincoln Mark viii wipers wont stow

It sounds like your park switch in the motor has failed or the power feed to the switch has failed. if you are good with tools you could remove motor and replace the switch, after you have checked that the plug is suppling a permant 12v supply and a switched supply from the wiper control switch, the park control switch allows the wipers to return to the parked lower position after you have turned them off.

Hi

Sounds to me like the "parking" contacts inside the wiper motor have broken off / worn.
Needs to remove wiper moter / dismantle to inspect. (On some models you can purchase these contacts.)

'88 blazer wipers do not work

Same thing happened to my '87 Chevy S-10 pickup, so it's probably the same part. The wiper motor froze, and because it's direct geared to the wipers, they don't move unless it does.

Remove the wiper motor, reposition the wipers to their resting position, then reinstall a new wiper motor.

Wipers willnot return to park position

I've fixed this problem before. You have to disconnect the wiper transmission from the wiper motor. Put wipers in off position, unbolt the plate on top of wiper, turn wipers on then off. In the off position see where the wiper transmission is position in relation to where the park position is, remove the top plate from wiper motor and position it so as to be able to reconnect the wiper transmission now in the proper place. Please keep me informed. thanks you

Wipers do not work in intermittent position. They do work in low and high speeds but do not automatically return to the park position. They stop wherever you turn the switch off.

i belive that your wiper switch has gone out on the intermittent side. this is a very common problem.
I hope this helps you
Thanks

Whindshield wipers stuck in a vertical position

This is an easy fix. Likely ice got on your windshield and froze your wipers to the glass then when turned on moved out of position. Take the cover off the base of the wipers and loosen the bolts. Put them down all the way and tighten. When wipers are turned on when frozen to glass the gears want to move but cant and loosens at the base. Please let me know if this does not help and will look into it further but this is probably it. Thanks

04 dodge ram 1500 wiper arm goes down before going up

remove wiper arms at the shaft, right at the cowl. each will have a nut on them but it is covered by a piece of plastic that will snap up for access. take nuts off and remove wiper assembly. turn key on turn wipers on make sure shafts turn when on, then turn off the shafts to stop in park position. then reinstall wiper assemblies in their park position .
