Question about 2001 Chrysler Sebring
I have a chrysler sebring lxi and all of a sudden it started idling too high (2.5 rpms). after checking under the hood we founf what was making it idle too high and when you unplug it it idles way too low, but its a box that is connected to the breather system, i dont know what this box is called.
Idle speed sensor is the device you are refering to. It is available at most auto parts places.

Also check manifold vacuum at idle the best you can hold an idle. I have run into timing belt being one tooth off and engine still ran fine. But the vacuum was low that's how I could tell the belt was a tooth off.
