My 2002 Buick LeSabre has issues when I turn left.It actually seems to lift off the ground!! There seems to be issues with having to refill the power steering fluid when its cold too.When the steering wheel is straight the passenger side front wheel is turned towards the driver side.Any suggestions or similar issues? Thanks..Darius

When its cold fluid will be lower than when its hot. sounds like you may have a suspension component broken, and for sure need alignment for those wheels

2002 Buick LeSabre steering noise when turning left-what could it be?

The whine is an indicator the power steering unit is low in most cases. If the fluid is at the proper level then the power steering pump is most likely going out.

Power Mirror Wiring Schematic 92 Buick Lesabre 1992 thru 1997 & More

Here is a schematic which my dad & I devised over the course of two hours for the power mirror wiring on our 1992 lesabre, as we couldn't find any wiring info to handle this issue.

http://www.iqmetals.com/else/lesabre/

That's our/my website, and that folder will let you see & get all of the pictures & diagrams

The wiring harness for the power mirror switch was acquired through Rock Auto, and the wire lettering scheme was embossed onto the plastic.
Here's a written breakout of the wires & their locations/purposes.

A= Ground
B= Common Left/Right Motion(Splits to both sides)
C= Common Up/Down Motion(Splits to both sides)
D= Left Side - Left/Right Motion
E= Left Side - Up/Down Motion
F= Right Side - Up/Down Motion
G= Right Side - Left/Right Motion
H= Positive 12V

Now Assuming that all of the power mirrors are wired & color coordinated the same, that would connect....
B -- Light Blue wire of Both Mirrors
C -- Green wire of Both Mirrors
D -- Gray wire of Drivers Side Mirror
E -- Dark Blue wire of Drivers Side Mirror
F -- Dark Blue wire of Passengers Side Mirror
G -- Gray wire of Passengers Side Mirror

In our circumstance we hooked up the power and ground inline with the power window Power(Pink) & Ground(Black) wires which are nearby in the door. The fuse/circuit should easily handle the minor load of power mirrors, even if you were using the windows and mirrors at the very same time... a rarity I do suppose.

If it is under the back seat it is a bugger. It is heavy and requires some strength. Your auto parts store may have a lifting helper. I have a 2002 Lesabre and it was tough. I think I had to lean it a little towards the back of the car and then pull straight up. This may not apply but worth checking.

Bleed the brakes on 2002 buick lesaber need to power bleed?

Not really. Works better but if you are going to manually bleed brakes start at the farest point. 1) RR 2) LR 3) RF 4) LF don't forget to check brake res. and refill as needed. I am assuming you know how to bleed brakes.

Power steering

Support front wheels off ground. Chock rear tires, get an assistant for safty. Start engine (do not put in gear) step outside of car and manually turn wheels left and right by hand. Cut off engine. Turn key back to release steering lock. Manually turn wheels by hand again. If it requires the same ammount of strength to turn wheels, then Rack and Pinion is bypassing internally. Solution... replace rack & pinion.
