Question about 1998 Oldsmobile Cutlass
My uncle pour diesel fuel in my 98 cutlass what should i do the car still cranks but you have to hold on the gas pedal and when you let go the car cuts off
You need to drain your fuel tank completely.
First, disconnect you negative battery cable, then remove the fuel filler tube that goes from the fuel filler door, to the fuel tank. Usually, there is a couple bolts by the gas cap, and a rubber hose with 2 hose clamps connecting the fuel filler tube to the fuel tank.
After you disconnect the fuel filler tube, use a piece of old garden hose or tube to siphen the fuel out of your fuel tank. Once your fuel tank is completely empty, re-assemble in reverse, and add gasoline only.
