Hi mate 2005 toyota alphard oil light on some time?

could be a bad connect or faulty oil pressure sender unit
have the oil pressure checked by using a mechanical oil pressure gauge
that will show if it is the electrical system gauge or if you have a real problem in the lubrication system of the engine
It is best if you have the test done by an accredited service shop that has experience on your make of vehicle
some of the items that can cause this condition are
spinning main bearing shell
loose oil pick up tube on pump
problem pump relief valve
low oil level
failing hydraulic belt / chain tensioner
gauge / sender faulty
so it is critical that a correct diagnosis be made

How can I test the coolant temperature sensor on a 2003 Toyota Echo so that I can make sure whether or not it's working properly? Thanks for your kind reply.

Use a multimeter to check. unplug the sensor and replace it with multimeter. As the coolant warms you should see a voltage change. I don't know the exact figures you should see but it works on voltage change to close and open the circuit, hope it helps.

Toyota 4 Runner maintenance at 60,000 miles

The time on yours more than miles affects the coolant, it should be changed every 5 years or 100,000 miles.

How often should coolent be changed

very important that you dont touch your coolant it must be done by the dealer unless you have a toyota computer tool. the coolant is a special type it not only cools you gas motor but it also cools your electric motor. and you have to use a computer scanner to turn on the water pump and get the air out before you start up your car or you will have a nice paper weight. as far as the time go with your dealers recommendation
