Take it to an auto upolstery shop, they may be able to repair the damage, or recover the seat.
Failing that, you can check the auto wreckers, and finally the dealer.

Raise car and block securely. Underneath on floor pans directly below seats you will see oval or round rubber grommets.(plugs) Use flat screw driver to pry out. You will see a nut under each. Remove nuts and remove seat. Installation of aftermarket seats may require you to drill new holes and or addition of shims to square up the base of the new seat. Flat washers work well.
The bucket seats from the 1995 Nissan Pathfinder should be an exact fit. The bolt holes and bolts should be the exact same and have the exact same hole locations.

Black smoke
is caused by excess fuel that has entered the cylinder area and cannot
be burned completely. Poor fuel mileage is also a common complaint when black
smoke comes out of the tailpipe. Black smoke out the tailpipe is the
least cause for alarm. Excess fuel will usually effect engine
performance, reduce fuel economy, and produce a fuel odor. Some of the causes of excess fuel are a carburetor that
is out of adjustment, a faulty fuel pump, a leaky fuel injector, or a
faulty engine computer or computer sensor. If black smoke is present,
check the engine oil to make sure excess
fuel has not contaminated it. Do not start the engine if a heavy, raw
fuel smell can be detected in the engine oil.
Oil is leaking getting into the cylinders which is being burnt which is causing the white smoke from the exhaust. You might have compression problems or worn valves.
Came upon your post today, 12-6. You might want to check out Recaro seats (racing seats). I also had back problems and installed one in my car. They are listed on the internet @ $219 each, but u should try one out to make sure it's comfortable. I had mine over 20 years ago (long gone now!) it was very firm, u might say 'hard'. Don't know if it would be good for u, it helped me. Let me know if u need more info.
