What needs to be done if my turn signals aren't working on a 2000 pontiac grand am

Could be a fuse, if the fuse is good find out where the flasher relay is located and check to see if there is power there when the indicators are operated. hope this helps.

has to be somwhere in the wiring for the tail lamp brk light. if the high mount works the switch is good. did you put the correct bulbs in? they may share a common ground independant of the other lights.

IF YOU HAVE CHECKED FUSES RELAYS AND MAKE SURE THE BOTH HEADLITES ARE GOOD. ITS A GOOD CHANCE ITS GONNA BE THE MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH ... AKA... TURN SIGNAL SWITCH. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND OUT.

TURN SIGNAL SWITCH IS GOING BAD.THE BRAKE LIGHTS AND TURN SIGNAL ON SAME CIRCUIT.CHECK FLASHER FUSE.IF OKAY PROBLEM COULD BE FLASHER SWITCH OR LOOSE WIRE.

Sounds like you have a short between your brakes and turn signals. The car needs to be serviced by a dealer.

Where is my turn signal switch or the flasher on


The turn signal switch is in the column, at the end of the turn signal lever. The flasher is integrated with the Hazard switch. The hazard/turn signal flasher is common to go bad.
