Remove fuses 10 and 11 in the underhood junction box. Leave out for 5 minutes then reinstall. If the seats start working your Zephyrs dual climate control seat module will need replaced.

where is the climate control seat module located at

  • Anonymous May 21, 2013

I also had this same problem but they both would come on for a period of time then totally shut off. I had to have both seats repaired and it was a module located under the seats. Ive had SO MANY electrical issues with this car I dont even want it anymore

I have the same problem with my 2005 LS. The drivers seat stopped working the light would flash to come on and then shut off. I called the dealer and it's $289 a module and I believe there is two, plus labor at $180 an hour(2). 1K to get this BS fixed! No way!!

Drivers electric seat doesn't work fuses check out good. Both passenger heated seats don't work.

If the fuses check out ok look for relays. If they check out ok look at the wiring and connectors to make sure everything is in order.

In my Kia Cerato 2000cc, only heating of the driver seat is ok.the other sear not working. in addition to that, cooling of seats also does not work

Check that the wiring harness plugs under the seats haven't become disconnected. Next thing to check is that the harnesses have power when the controls for heat/cool are activated. Also check the interior fuse compartment for blown fuses.

The heating seat is not working

In driver's seat you must dissconect gray terminal with 3 pins and check contonuity between 1 and 2, and next between 2 and 3 pin. There should be continuity. If not, the heater inside seat is out of order. Passanger's seat has gray 4p terminal. There must be continuity between 2 and 3, and 3 and 4 pin. Don't dissconect yellow conectors (SRS)! If you are not sure dissconect first battery for 10 min. Btw, check first all fuses inside car (both side-driver's and passanger's)) and check under-hood fuses.

Driver's side power seat and heat in both seats not working

hello, have someone check all fuses-and plugs for the power seat, they may be a relay for this problem, can call autoparts store and ask about any relays for the heated seats and the power seat, if thats not it you may have to replace, electric motor for seat, sounds like a fuse, the way it all quit working..

Heated seat does not work on drivers side. Fuse checks ok

the grid in your seat has shorted out if the right one works The relay controls both seats so you diffently have a burnt grid

2006 Buick Terraza drivers heated seat not working passanger side ok wiring seems ok

you will need to check the fuses first and if they are okay. then take a test light and check the switch for the power seat itself and see if you are getting power to and from the switch. if all is okay check power at connector for heated seat and if all is okay the heat is bad or it maybe the switch i have seen both. good luck

98 Aurora's heated seat not working

Check your fuses first. Then check to see if you have power to the box under seat. It should be about 3x3 and black I think. If you have power to the box change the box. To check use a test light. make sure the key is on and the button is pushed then probe the wires going to the box. Hope this helps you.

My driver side heated seat has quit working. But passanger side still works. Is there a fuse i can check for this. Thanks 2001 chevy impala

more than likely it is the heating element in the seat that went bad. if there is a light on the switch it should be getting power and the heating elements under the seat coushin do go bad. it is not an uncommon thing.

Drivers heated seat won' work

Probably a fuse!
Under the dash on the drivers side or under the hood.
New cars have them labeled right at the fuses not in the manual!
Hope this is helpful.

Good Luck!
