Question about 2003 GMC Safari
My 2003 Safari blower motor only works on HI speed. For a while all speeds worked intermittently. I have the control panel in my hands and I have an ohm meter but I don't know where to check to see if the 4-position switch is working properly. How can I check to see if the control is working? What else can I check without spending big bucks? Where can I get a wiring diagram? Russ
I had the same problem with my 2002 Safari. The blower resistor/relay pack (mounted on the ductwork below the blower motor) in the engine compartment went bad- poor design. A replacement unit (about $120) is available from the dealer. Removal of the coolant overflow / WWasher bottle is required, as well as enlarging the the mounting opening.
