You need to take the rotor/hub off the spindle. So you'll need to remove the wheel bearings in order for it to come off. Once off theres bolts in the back of the rotors bolted to the hub.

Changing front brake rotor on 1995 honda passport

Put the parking brake On and jack up the front of your SUV.

Remove the lug nuts and you will be able to remove the tire and rimm by sliding them off.Remove the spindle bolt located at the center of the rotor using an 36 mm socket(approx).

Remove the two nuts located behind the rotor (one at top and other at the bottom). This will enable you to remove the brake caliper. While removing it be careful that the caliper tube stays straight.

Slide under your passport and remove the 4 bolts behind the hub using an 12 mm(approx) wrench.Pull the hub assembly out and this will remove the hub rotor in some cases if you are using an tool for pulling the hub assembly out or you have to slide the rotor off the hub assembly.

Slide the new rotor into the hub assembly.Reinstall the brake caliper and make sure the caliper tube is not twisted. Replace the spindle bolt.

When buying rotors for a 95 Bronco 4X4 should the rotors be seperate from the hub or should they be attached as one piece? Im getting mixed info from part stores.

The reason you're getting mixed info from parts stores is because it comes both ways.
Look at the following to determine which one you have, 4 wheel disc brakes (floating front rotors) or rear drum brake model (except 4 wheel disc brakes):
Brake Disc (Rotor) REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Except F-Super Duty with 4-Wheel Disc Brakes Fig. 1: Secure the caliper so there is no tension on the brake hose 88289p22.jpg
  1. Jack up the front of the truck and support it with jackstands. Remove the front wheel.
  2. Remove the caliper assembly and support it on the frame with a piece of wire (or something equally secure) without disconnecting the brake fluid hose.
  3. Remove the hub and rotor assembly.
  4. Install the rotor in the reverse order of removal, and adjust the wheel bearing as outlined in Section 1.
F-Super Duty with 4-Wheel Disc Brakes The hub and rotor are individual pieces, allowing the rotor to be replaced independently. The front and rear rotors are the same and are attached with 10 bolts and washers. The bolts are tightened a little at a time, in a crisscross fashion, to an ultimate torque of 74–89 ft. lbs. (100–121 Nm). prev.gif next.gif

How do I remove the rotor on my 1995 dodge 2500 4x4? My problem in the center cap holding it.

Brake Disc (Rotor) REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Raise and safely support the front of the truck with jackstands. Remove the front wheel.
  2. Remove the caliper assembly and support it to the frame with a piece of wire without disconnecting the brake fluid hose.
  3. Remove the hub and rotor assembly.
  4. Install the rotor in the reverse order of removal, and adjust the wheel bearing as outlined in Section 1.
INSPECTION If the rotor is deeply scarred or has shallow cracks, it may be refinished on a disc brake rotor lathe. Also, if the lateral run-out exceeds 0.010 in. (0.25mm) within a 6 in. (152mm) radius when measured with a dial indicator, with the stylus 1 in. (25mm) in from the edge of the rotor, the rotor should be refinished or replaced. A maximum of 0.020 in. (0.5mm) of material may be removed equally from each friction surface of the rotor. If the damage cannot be corrected when the rotor has been machined to the minimum thickness shown on the rotor, it should be replaced. The finished braking surfaces of the rotor must be parallel within 0.007 in. (0.178mm) and lateral run-out must not be more than 0.003 in. (0.076mm) on the inboard surface in a 5 in. (127mm) radius. How do u replace a front wheel bearing on a 2005 gmc envoy 4x4 and dose anybody have diagrams to follow how to

Remove center hub cap. Remove large nut behind hub cap.Lift wheel assembly off ground. Remove wheel. Remove brake calipher assembly by taking out larger bolts from back of calipher. Remove brake rotor. Pull axle toward middle of vehicle, you may have to tap axle end with small hammer being careful not to damage threads on end of axle. Remove three bolts from back, bearing housing should come out to the front.

How do I change front hub and bearing assembly on 2004 Explorer

Front hub bearing, remove tire, remove caliper and caliper holding bracket, you do not have to remove brake caliper from brake hose, just set it aside, if 4X4 remove front axle nut that goes through center of rotor, also remove brake rotor, disconnect elec, A.B.S connector, remove three bolts on back side of hub bearing, remove hub bearing, some times you will need to knock hub bearing out with a hammer.Reverse to install new hub bearing.
