Starter motor , is there a fuse for this

There is a starter relay inside the cabin. Fuse box is located on left panel down in driver's footwell . If it is still the original one it will be a light blue square fuse located at the very top of the panel and it will say starter relay.

New starter, battery good, all lights on dash come on but when I turn the key to start the car, I get no sound at all from the starter. So what is the problem? Also, does this 1996 Toyota Corolla...

There is a 12 volt signal from the ignition switch to the starter relay ! Start by having someone turn the ignition to start and with a test light on the small wire at starter see if it lights up with the ignition cylce at start ! Second -locate the starter relay in the fuse block and swap it with another same style relay and see if it will turn over ! I believe the computer is behind the glove box on that year ! You can follow the large harness in the engine compartment to the bulkhead and that will tell you where in the interior the computer is ! Hope this helps !

    Corolla won't start or turnover

could be a fuse, electrical problem going to starter, bad relay for starter (located under hood in fuse box) but more than likely your solenoid is shot on the starter itself. also relay should click when energized you will notice it if you have your hand on it while turning ignition switch. and you need constant hot (12 volts), switch hot(12 volts with ignition switch turned like your cranking car) and ground wires landed at your starter, a cheap volt meter from wal-mart is not a bad tool to have 10 dollars to test all connections and make sure to have parts store check your starter before you buy one
