Do a google/bing search and enter "1999 Chrysler Concorde battery replacement" (without the quotes). You should find many sites with instructions on how to perform this task. I did the search and had many sites that instruct you how to do it. The one I found also gave specific warnings for your model on certain security codes that may need to be entered to get you radio to work again. If you are not savvy in changing out the battery might be a good idea to find a reputable mechanic to do it for you... Hope it helps...

I bypassed the passlock system a 07 colorado and I need to change the battery does the car need to be running to reconnect

No, though there have been reports of the drivers window and door lock system malfunctioning after battery removal. It is possible to remove and replace the battery while the vehicle is running. Just remove the battery cables one at a time and place the cable ends in insulated cloth. Remove the battery and install new battery with reverse installation of cables.
You just have to be careful that you don't touch your wrenches to chassis grounds when removing the positive cable from the battery.

How to switch out the battery

Remove Negative terminal first, then positive terminal. Battery will have some type of tie down or block at base with a bolt you will have to remove. Remember how it goes back together. Remove battery.
Install new battery and tie down or block. Install Positive terminal then Negative terminal.
Remember to never touch both Positive and negative terminals with a metal object (ie..ratchet, wrench etc) this can cause injury and/or permanent damage to a new battery.

First disconnect, NEGATIVE cable, than the positive cable. Than remove the bolt or strap that is securing battery. Then when you install new battery, Connect POSITIVE FIRST, then negative battery.
Make sure battery is charged before installing in vehicle. It will save lots of tear on altenator.

Need instructions on how to change the battery on my 1999 300M?

You need to remove the panel from in front of the passenger side front tire to access the battery. You will also have to remove the air filter housing to get at the battery hold down so you can remove the battery. Hope this helped.

Hope it helps and have a great day!
