Sounds like a main fuse might have blown. Check all of your fuses... Good luck. Hope it helps you get started...

Bypassed heater core by connecting hoses together. Problem is heater blower turns on and instrument panel goes dead. Concerned, is there a relay or fuse I should disconnect?

there could still be water in the blower motor from the leak that shorts the power. you should remove the fuse for the heater until it has dried up ..or open it up and dry the inside yourself

While driving all the dash instruments went dead. speedometer , gas, temp gauge all went dead at the same time. radio, heater are working , along with the turn signals and blinkers, head/ taillights all...

Well, the fuse(s) or relay(s) exist SOMEWHERE in the vehicle. If you don't have an owner's manual, search online for "location of fuses for xx year, model."

Heater stuck on

I had this same problem. The only way I could turn off the heater was to pull the fuse. I ended up replacing the HVAC control module, located just below the stereo. It wasn't as expensive as I thought it might be (I went through a salvage yard) and it's worked great ever since. Good luck!

1997 chrysler concord

My girlfriend's 95 concorde was having a problem that sounds like that. Some times when she started the car, the heater control console would not turn on but the heater would turn on full blast. I fixed it by replacing the control console with one that i picked up from the junk yard. Hope this helps you

Very hot car.

I'd test the fan by connecting it directly to the battery to verity it is functioning. If it is, check the relays that control the fans they should be located in the fuse box in the engine bay. If the relays are ok the only other thing that could be causing the problem is the temp sensor on the radiator.
