I replaced a timing belt on a 2005 Chrysler 300 limited with a 3.5.. car was running fine but the belt broke. Now after replacing the belt, cars running real rough and seems to have no power. Double checked the timing and its correct. Is this an interference engine or what could be causing this?

It is an interference engine and you will have bent valves . That will be the cause of your rough engine and lack of power. To test have a compression test done first before pulling the head

SOURCE: BAD ENGINE NOISE RIGHT AFTER REPLACING TIMING BELT AND WATER PUMP

if poor performance was noticed right off the bat, the timing belt is not timed properly. this will cause lack of power, rough idle, pre ignition(little noisey), and rich exhaust.youre going to need to first, find a friend or someone whom you trust to do your automotive work.second youre going to need to start over by tearing it all down systematically and taking note of anything done wrong. third find reliable information on the timing marks for this vehicle. i hope for your sake nothing is broken. let me know how this turns out, ill be happy to help further if you need.

SOURCE: Car coded yesterday p0303 noe check engine light flashing

The only thing left is the injector or a vacuum leak on the manifold gasket sucking air in and causing a lean condition. Thats is its the only common issue providing you dont have a head gasket issue leaking coolant on that cylinder and the compression and valves are not leaking. The old spark plug should show a coolant issue if present. The white part will be shiney if you have a coolant loss. If the coolant is looking real dark you should have the cooling system checked for gas being pushed into the cooling system on compression stroke thru the head gasket.

Follow your owners manaul, it has all the services needed according to mileage, of course if you havent been following the book, it doesnt do much good, and you are overdue for Coolant, Trans fluid/ filter, belts, filters, ect. Your car should have a timing chain.

How to fix serpentine belt on chrysler 300 with a seized air compresser

Try by going to an auto parts store. advanced auto, autozone, ETC. tell them you need a belt for your car without a/c. Most of the time you can get one! This will bypass the a/c motor. God-Bless!

My serpentine belt broke on my chrysler 300 yr 2005 eng 3.5 i was told air compresser seized is there any way i can fix it without replacing compresser

You might be able to use a shorter belt and not go around compressor pulley. Use a length of string to get a rough idea of what belt you need.

Windshield washer stopped working in 2005 chrysler 300 limited

Can you hear the (washer) motor run? Have someone hit the squirters with the key on and out your ear to the filler tube to see if you can hear the pump running. If yes, common for the impeller to spin off the shaft of the motor. I have found that the replacements at the auto stores work rather well. Something of a pain to remove the tank though!

What milage do you replace the timing belt?

The chrysler 300 has a timing chain instead of a belt. There is no real scheduled replacement time
for the chain, unless the chain is bad or another repair requires the removal of the timing case cover.
And thats a fairly big job. Hope this helps.
