I have a chevy s10 2.2 2003 truck and one day it ran about five miles. then stalled. it started back up idled fine but put it in gear. stalled again. had to get towed home replaced the fuel filter,truck...

When you press on the gas when the truck is running, does it rev up?

Did it die while driving down the road (foot on the accelerator) or when idle? - If so, try cranking it and get your RPMs up to 1500-2000 RPMs and put it in drive (with your other foot on the brake). See if it will continue running if you never take your foot off the gas.

From red light truck started sputtering and and stalled out

Hello. The GMC Sierra has an electric fuel pump so you should ensure that its fuses and relays are working before checking it. You may need to clean your fuel pump or replace it if your gas tank is not empty, but your vehicle has difficulty getting fuel. The GMC Sierra comes in a variety of styles and trim levels that can affect the replacement fuel pump you choose.

Since I purchased my 2000 GMC Yukon XL 1500 we have had a water leak that soaks the drivers side floor and passenger floor behind the drivers seat. I took it to my GMC dealer and they had it two days and...

You may be right about the sun roof. It should have 4 tubes to drain water that comes in around the glass. Sometimes the tubes fall off letting the water come into the cabin. The horn may be the part in the wheel. Apply it at different angles and it might start working. Sometimes they get rusty. I think your cabin filter would be under the hood near the firewall on the passenger side with a plastic cover.

Stalled twice while towing at 65 mph. sputtered

If the scan will narrow down which o2 sensor it is and replace it. If it has more than one on that year that is. Under load you will probable have a richer fuel mix. If the sensor is going going bad it may only get out of spec reading under heavy load and warmer temps. I have had similar issues with GM and it was easily fixed.

Misfire

This sounds like it may be as simple as cleaning the water or gunk out of the gas tank which is what I always do 1st because it's easy and inexpensive.
If your fuel is contaminated with gunk, grime, water and/or bottom junk like rust this will cause stalling!

Fill the tank with High Test, Add some dry gas and a good fuel system cleaner or 2 or 3 and this should dissolve all the gunk and clean the injectors! Read & follow the cans' instruction carefully.
If this cures the problem never let your gas tank get below 1/4 and especially never run it to empty as this is when the gunk and/or water will enter the system!
Hope this helps!
Good Luck!
