Is there a way to bypass the rear AC lines

The AC on my van worked good last summer but shortly after I bought it it quit working, and they say it needs the rear AC lines but, they are very expensive and I would like to know it there is a way to bypass the rear AC lines and just have the front AC?

SOURCE: belt bypass too small

I had the exact same problem. The belt specified is absolutely too small. I went with a 92" belt from Autozone and it is still working fine.

SOURCE: ac bypass avalible

If your talking about bypassing the A/C compressor with a different belt, then you will need to go to an auto parts store and see if they have a replacement belt for your engine, W/O A/C.Then before you leave, see if it looks like it will fit.

SOURCE: ac line leak

Hi, its best to just replace the hose assembly(line). this is best so that you will not have to reseal once again down the road. the actual price range will vary from $56.00-$154.00. just depends on what shop or auto parts store you purchase it from.

SOURCE: rear wiper motor and the rear defroster and the ac

is there a contact pannel in to door frame for the tail gate? if so the contact may be corroded or dirty open the tailgate and use WD40 or eqivent or a bit of aftershave on a cloth to clean up the contacts.
2 if there is a wire between the body and the tailgate check to see if its as broken with a lot of opening and closing of the tailgate this flexes the cable and maybe one of the wires has broken inside and will need replacement.

My air was working fine but my van was overheating then my rear heater water line busted i took it back to the used dealer i am buying it from and when i got it back my air isn't working any...

Be sure that they didn't release your refrigerent while working on the rear heater lines. Have them test the ac system for refrigerent volumn and pressure, and then ask them why it worked before and not now! The rear ac lines often run parralel to the rear heater lines.

My Van has no heat, I have flush the radiator and heater core. It has a rear heater assy is there a ciol in the rear?

The van may have cable or vacuum control for the vent flaps.
Check if the defroster, vent controls are working
If they are, your vacuum lines are good,or your cables are good
Switch from cold to hot.listen for the flap moving(most likely under dash to right of drivers
foot)
Look to see if the heater core had been bypassed(if bought used)
If the flap for cold/hot is not working ,look under dash at center console
try to flip lever manually

My 01 chevy venture blend door acuator is not working. Is there a way to manually change it when the summer gets here? The ac worked just fine this last summer but I had no heat. The shop manually changed...

Your blend door in the Venture is on the driver side of the van, under the dash just above your right knee at the side of your plenum. You will see a white arm that will move to adjust the blend door. The blend door actuator sits on top of the plenum held down with 3 screws. If you did not want to diagnose the problem you could just wire it in place for summer or winter. Personally I would try and diagnose the problem. Hope this helps.

1998 ford explorer a/c and heater wont work

You lost the Freon again, because you probably only fill up Freon last winter, you didn’t check the leak and fix it,

You have to check the AC belt, compressor, AC clutch, condenser ( see the small glass window to find out if there is some bubbling, if your Ac has bubbling, you need fill up Freon.

Belt bypass too small

yes, there could be an "a/c delte" pulley out there that would go where the compressor was. double check that you are routing the belt right. all other pullies are the same. maybe your diagram is wrong or you are misinterpreting. (it happens to everyone) if you still can't get it, you can wrap a peice of string around all the pullies, measure the string, and ask for that size belt.
