What is the fuel suction valve? fuel pump? You never stated a year. Did you replace the fuel filter? P0089 is generic code for a fuel problem. What was the fuel pressure? Did the pressure hold for 10+ minutes? What are the symptoms?

Nissan x-trail diesel code p0089

I would need to know what year model this is, engine capacity and engine code to confirm but generally on the x-trails that fault code refers to a mechanical fault on the fuel pressure regulator. This is for the YD22DDTi engine.

07 passat code p0642 related to other codes

code p0642 refers to ECM-knock control defective or sensor reference voltage A circuit low or system voltage- malfunction===causes for ecm is ECM--- for voltage A wiring is short to positive --- for system voltage ---wiring--poor connection--battery---alternator
code p2014 refers to intake manifold air control actuator position sensor/ switch bank 1 circuit malfunction=== causes --wiring --intake manifold air control actuator position sensor/switch
code p0106 refers to manifold absolute pressure MAP sensor/barometric pressure sensor-range/performance problem===causes--intake /exhaust leak--wiring--MAP sensor---Baro sensor.
code p0089 refers to fuel pressure regulator --performance problem===causes--fuel pressure regulator--mechanical fault. I would suggest that you have the battery load tested and the alternator checked for correct output as it may be the common reason for the codes .P0089 will not be electrical as it being a mechanical fault then the regulator needs replacing

Car seems to be running fine but there is a Service Light with a wrench that is on and I cannot get it turned off.

Hello; The light with the wrench indicates there is a condition pending that if operation continues it may bring on the service soon light. It can only be put out with a scanner. Some auto parts stores can read codes and put the light out and not charge for it.

P0336 Code

The code P0336 is crank shaft sensor performance code.The sensor could be faulty and not picking up a good signal.The after erasing the code,the problem still exists ,so it is then a pending code and when you shut the car off and restart it the code reappears.Just another idea here ,if you have not had a tune-up recently(plugs,wires,airfilter,etc.)you could get unwanted codes and your engine will not perform as it should.This could cause poor gas mileage as well.John.

Service engine light on showing code p0089

Diagnostic trouble code P0089 - The ECM commands the Bosch high-pressure fuel pump to deliver a specific fuel rail pressure - that can vary up to 23,000 psi depending on load and speed. The actual pressure is monitored via the fuel rail pressure sensor. If the fuel rail pressure varies more than desired or if commanded fuel pump flow is 100mm3/second or less, DTC P0089 will set.

Corrective action includes measuring the fuel rail pressure using a Tech II scan tool, then compare that to commanded fuel rail pressure with the engine running at 2000 rpm. The difference must be less than 20 Mpa.

A blockage in the fuel tank or plugged fuel filter could cause this fault (excessive vacuum in fuel line). If there is less than 5 in Hg of vacuum when measured at the fuel pressure test port at 3000 rpm, the fuel pressure regulator could be defective, and may need to be replaced. The fuel pressure regulator (FPR) is a sub assembly located on the Bosch high-pressure fuel pump.
