Where is crank sensor liana 1.6

welcome to the USA forum , is your car USA.
no.
my guess is it has the M16a engine
see bottom left CKP #5
The M class engines , its on the PULLEY side
and facing said pulleys, (regardless of car it is)
its to the right of the pulley
that means the crank tone (teeth) wheel is behind said pulley on end of crank shaft.

we do have swifts here with m15 or M16

Where is crank sensor on suzuki liana 2001

post symptoms.?????????
the ECU on this car will tell you if that sensor is bad, rarely is it bad.
the sensor is in one of 3 places on all engines.
but you never stated your engine size.
what country, here USA the hood sticker tells what engine. or VIN.
other countries, its a VIN or chassis tag, stating engine type.
to work on any engine, you first need to know THAT. or fail.

here they are, we can not guess this. it must be stated.

Where is the crank sensor on a suzuki liana 2001

which engine, (can be in 3 places on cars)
what are the symptoms.
and 2001, usa cars, all report CKP sensor dead or misfiring
via any scan tool. use a scan tool and stop guessing its bad.
the PCM reports even 1 pulse in 10 missing. fact.
id love to be the CKP makers, free money !
this list of engine used on Aerio is on the wiki, what is yours.
1.3 L I4; 1.5 L I4; 1.6 L I4; 1.8 L I4; 2.0 L I4; 2.3 L I4; 1.4 L Diesel I4 sigh!
why not post the symptoms and stop guessing.??????

When i am driving my suzuki ignis (1.3,manual,2001)in a traffic(more than 45 mins)engine starts to miss(check light indicates) and it stops.cant start it for about 10-15 mins

I have a 2001 Suzuki Ignis and I have a similar problem. When I start the engine 5 beeps are heard and the hazard lights turn off and on with each beep. Also after I have been driving for about 45 mins 3 beeps are heard and the hazard lights turn off and on again. However my engine does not stop running. I have asked people about it and they think that it has something to do with a lose wire in the security system? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

SUZUKI LIANA 2002 ENGINE CUTTING OUT INTERMITTANTLY

Not sure if you have already figured this out- or just sold your car, but I have been having the same problem and had a bit of a search around forums etc. Looks like it is the Crank Angle Sensor which needs to be replaced. I am about to go and get my car fixed so fingers crossed this is the miracle cure. Here is a link to the forum discussion on the issue.

Does a 2002 Aerio have a timing chain or a belt?

Also known as a Liana in some markets, this may have either a "G" series or a "J" series motor in it. This can be checked by finding the engine number - either G16B123456 or J18A123456. The G series is belt driven, while the J series is chain driven (2 chains).
