Hi Robert, If I'm correct in thinking you're referring to the service reset, take the vehicle to have a diagnostic scan carried out and the service reset can be carried out at the same time. Regards John

Drive cycle

Do not need a drive cycle for every
type of repair
Drive Cycles are not done by the owner
They are done buy the shop that made the
repair,as you have to look up that info & road
test to do it,before returning returning the vehicle
& confirming the repair
Computers are not reset, you only clear all data
that doesn't do anything as far as the way the vehicle
operates

Cars do have a drive cycle to clear up a fault. It more less ensures the issue has been corrected after a certain drive cycle. Some issues have to cycled for 500 miles.

Drive time computer reset

Drive cycle has to do with normal everyday type of driving. So many stops, so many miles, fast driving, slow driving. My car went thru a drive cycle in about 38 miles on my way to work. My daughters took 3 days and about 78 miles. So just drive it like normal.
