Question about 1999 Ford Taurus
MY 1999 TAURUS TURNS OVER BUT WILL NOT START I WAS TOLD IT SOUNDS LIKE THE FUEL PUMP RESET SWITCH. CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE THIS IS LOCATED? Thank you I found the button and got my car started up and I let it run for a bit, turned the car off started it again took it for a test drive after about 2 miles stopped to make left onto my street the car stalled and I am back to my original problem..car turns over but will not start. I have tried the inertia button again. I do not have a manual and am a woman trying to fix myself.
I have had the same problem but only when it's hot out. I have changed many components/switches at the direction of many mechanics/parts people. I have just replaced the fuel pump (located in the gas tank) and have yet to experience any problems.
