How do i tune Mazda Demio (2004 model) radio to Southern African frequencies?

fm frequencies are just that fm frequencies ( not japanese, chinese ,english or anything else
it is a range of frequencies in the fm band that local stations broadcast on
so all you have to do is to turn the tuner knob until you get 107 fm
so as you turn the knob you will loose 89 and it will go probably 90.5 , 100.20, 102.7 etc and if there is a station broadcasting that your radio will pick up it will come in and then fade out as you keep moving the knob
you may have to change the mode as there are fm 1 ,fm 2,fm 3 bands to get your fm 107 as it will depend on what megahertz 107 is operating on

My radio on SAAB 9-5 does not pick FM signals

You're a bit vague about the problem mate. Does the radio pick up AM or LW? Not sure what country you're in. Does the radio actually go? Check the aerial connections. Is this car imported from another country with different frequencies? You may need a band expander if this is the case.

I need to tune my ford mustang shaker 500 radio. FM stations jump to every other XXX.3 to XXX.5, and not to an even digit like XXX.4. Is there an easy way to tune it or does it needs a band expander?

Alright Guys, Nothing from outside is required. I had the same issue with trying to hookup a BT device. For the FM Frequesny to advance or decrease by .1, simply use the Up/Down button used for selecting the CD in the Shaker500/1000 OEM Audio system. Some Genius at Ford decided to make that a frequency changer... Seen in this Pic on the top Right... The one used to switch between CD's.

How do you expand the FM band on a 2001 X-type Jaguar radio

FM band expanders are available on eBay. They will expand the FM band from 76Mhz - 90Mhz range to the 88Mhz - 108Mhz frequency range. Try eBay Australia, under "FM expander".

They fit very simply inline on your antenna wire (plug inline) and there's only one wire to connect to 12V + power supply... very easy to DIY.

FM radio is only up to 88 frequency. How can I get at least 104? How to reset the time?

If your car is a *** import you will need to get a band expander from an autoparts outlet.
It is a very common problem here in New Zealand.
Hope this helps.
