Question about 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII
Trying to install an after-market stereo, but cannot get sound to the speakers because yhey are all run through the factory amp in the trunk. Is there a way to bypass it or otherwise get my audio up and runnung without having to rewire my entire speaker system?

You have to run wires and antenna wire to trunk from head unit pull down the flap where the amp is and unplug the factory plug from the stereo think box is what i call it its the unit in front of the amp you will need to unplug the larger of the plugs it has like 10 wires in it and then unplug the antenna wire and you will connect it to the antenna wire you you ran back to the trunk do not splice any wires if you get a wiring kit for it it should have evrything you need

The sides of the third light inside of the car have plastic revits in each side looking carefully with a bright flashlight you can see them the center of the rivit can be pushed in about an eighth Inch and the rivit can be pryed out. onece the rivets are out the whole light will come off its mount. Watch as you do this as you need to put it back.turn it over and change the bulbs. The owners manual in the maintaince section tels the way and it's called the high mount brake light
