Question about 1997 Ford F150 Regular Cab
Have '97 F150 went to work and came home for lunch and on way back to work went to get in and start the truck, and wouldn't start...I had all the lights on dash on,and inside light w/ power. So I hooked my battery charger up and let charger for awhile...Nothing....can you please help me...May it be the starter and what is the id i'm looking for on a starter, due to many go in this year truck.
If it does not have alot of miles check the postive cable running to the starter. Shoulds like the same problem I had, It was the postive cable going to the starter. I made my own postive cable for about $12 new or you can buy it already made for $65 new. Take the old one off and make sure you make it just like the one that came off the truck. If the truck has alot of miles have the starter checked at any parts store.
