Hello velazqj, sounds like maybe the window regulator is binding, or possibly the window motor itself. Try helping the window up by pulling up on the glass when closing and see if it closes fully. If you hear any funny grinding or crunching noises, the regulator has most likely failed. The regulator is a scissor design and the motor is directly bolted to it. I would recommend removing the door panel and having both inspected.

driver side wall plate, right side of wall, i believe there are 5 relays, 4 on the long side of the plate and one on the short end. You want the one by itself on the short end.

Passenger window is off track

Cars whether foreign or domestic are all basic in nature, the problem is most likely a broken window regulator or something in the door became loose.

Been looking for dip stick to transmission on my 1996 bmw 318i.an cant find it .please help

hey there
they are normal at the back of the motor and really low almost so you cannot see it
i am thinking the passengers side towards the back down low and close to the motor
when checking fluid using the dipstick for the transition you must pull the dip stick out with in 5 seconds of turning the car off don't do it while the car is cold as you will get an unaccurate mesure

How do i replace the blower resistor on my 1996 BMW 318ti?

If you have a right hander it's on the passenger side.....or when you're sitting in the car, the left hand side.....Remove the side panel from under the dash.....That will uncover the center located heat exchange unit.....Look very close to the fire wall....Thats the plating separating the engine from the cabin.....What you're looking for, is a small unit which is fitted into the housing at the angled corner of the unit.....If memory serves, it's fitted in with a tongue at one side and a screw on the other....The electrical connection will guide you to the unit.....

keep cool....or warm
