SOURCE: Service Engine light on dash, will not turn off.

If your getting a service engine light on your dash there is something wrong with the engine, this light alerts you when a problem arises, you will need to find out what the problem is by reading the code output for the engine light with an obd tester, if you don't have one you can buy one, or you can try taking it to an auto parts store some places will read the code for you at no cost.

Where is theOBD 11 port on a 2004 honda cdv

The obd2 16pin dlc port will be located underneath the driver side dash. It's better to just poke your head underneath if you are not too familiar and have a look see to locate it. It will be closer to the center console side of the dash.

2004 Honda Element with manual transmission is jumping out of gear. Any ideas? Sounds and feels like an adjustment issue to me. I had a new clutch put in about 50,000 miles ago. Vehicle has about...

I hate to say it but given the mileage on the car the transaxle may be going out. Usually the symptom is caused by problems with the syncro gears but only one or two. For example, if it only jumps out of 5th gear it would be the 5th gear syncro.
You could check the adjustment of the cable from the shifter to eliminate that possibility.

The mileage display disappeared and I can not tell how many miles

I assume you are referring to the odometer. It has two lights, and if both are out you will not see the mileage unless you use a flashlight. It is not hard to replace these lights yourself but if you take it to a dealer they will charge you a fortune - I had one quote of $200. They said the dash has to be removed which is bull. I have done it twice now and it takes about 10 minutes. Here's a link that shows the steps (the link is for changing the lights to LEDs but you can just use it to change the standard bulbs). http://www.cardomain.com/ride/807962/2

I found this out on HondaElementOwnersClub.com, which is a great site for all things element.
